The winery
The winery was built in 1999 and a complete bottle line and packing line were installed in the years after. In 2003 a much larger winery with a capacity of 500.000 liters of wine has been installed to enable Domaine Favori to produce this larger quantity of wine.

The Domaine
Already named Domaine Favori, Hendrik and Hanneke van Ruller bought the three hundred year old wine-farmhouse on 20 hectares of land. It was purchased from the three bachelor brothers Romain, who had been living at the Domaine all their lives.
In the years following, Hanneke and Hendrik renovated and extended the farm. Today Domaine Favori compasses a total of 200 acres, of which 110 acres of forest, 65 acres of vineyards and 25 acres of agicultural land.

As natural as possible
Together with the farmer Joël Aubert from the village Hendrik is maintaining the vineyards. For this he is using as little as possible poluting chemicals and biological fertilizer. Improtant details are discussed together in cooperation with Joël.
